The 7-Day Taste Reset
Seven days, four changes, in the order that actually works. Three of them are free. You can do the whole thing without buying anything from us, and plenty of people should.
The reason most people conclude "nothing works" is that they start with the smallest lever and skip the largest ones. This is the same plan in the right order.
- Days 1–2 — Water
- Two to three litres daily. Coffee down to one. No alcohol this week. Hydration is the fastest change available and it improves saltiness, bitterness and odour simultaneously, because it dilutes all of them.
- Days 2–4 — Subtract
- No asparagus, garlic, onion or cruciferous vegetables. Reduce red meat and heavy dairy. If you smoke, this is the week to stop — it is the largest single negative and nothing compensates for it.
- Days 3–7 — Add
- Two to three servings of fruit daily: pineapple, mango, papaya, citrus, watermelon, grapes. Parsley or mint with meals.
- Day 7 onward — Hold
- A stable new baseline lands between weeks two and four. Consistency beats intensity, every time.
- Where the supplement fits
- Step four, and optional. It is the daily fruit input on the days you do not shop, cook or think about it — which is most days. It is not stronger than the fruit; it is more reliable than you.
What to expect, honestly
- Day 2: hydration shows. Saltiness softens first.
- Day 4: subtraction shows. This is usually the biggest single jump.
- Day 7: the added fruit registers. A noticeably milder baseline.
- Weeks 2–4: it stops fluctuating and becomes your normal.
What you will not get is a different substance. Nobody tastes like fruit, and a plan promising that would be lying to you on day one.
